Biotrial, a leading provider of high-quality pharmacology services, is recruiting an Inside Sales Representative to work in its Clinical Research Pharmacology Unit in Newark, New Jersey, the Company’s U.S. headquarters. Benefits are available for full-time employees.

Position Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative is part of the Business Development team and is responsible for identifying and prospecting for new clients, while effectively communicating the benefits of Biotrial’s services. The candidate in this position must be focused on business development efforts by generating qualified leads via market intelligence, social media tools, and existing databases.

Responsibilities include:

· Utilize the knowledge of Biotrial’s broad portfolio of Clinical Research services to analyze the drug pipelines of relevant companies & identify ideal prospect clients.

· Generate leads through Market intelligence, emails & phone calls, in order to set up meetings (virtual and/or Face-to-Face) with prospective clients.

· Participate in targeted marketing and prospection campaigns for the North American territories.

· Support Business Development Managers in meeting preparation, follow up and reports.

· Attend internal business development calls and meetings to discuss new opportunities and the overall sales pipeline.

· Update and manage the Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) system.

General Requirements:

· Must be Goal-oriented and client-focused.

· Must be well organized, self-motivated, and have excellent time management skills.

· Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills, in addition to strong phone presence and client-oriented telephone etiquette.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Education and Experience:

· B.S. degree in business with a strong interest in the pharmaceutical industry, or a B.S. degree in a scientific discipline with a high motivation for business/sales.

· 1 or 2 years of experience in Contract Research Organizations (CROs), and/or having an understanding of the Drug Development process would be preferred.
